schauplatz.theater wird biennal in einem jeweils anderen Bundesland in Österreich durchgeführt. Zum zweiten Mal findet dieses nationale Amateurtheaterfestival in Vorarlberg statt.

schauplatz.theater bringt herausragende Produktionen des außerberuflichen Theaters auf die Bühne, wobei vor allem die Vielfalt und die hohe Qualität der Amateurbühnen in Österreich aufgezeigt werden soll.

Derzeit 26 aktive Mitglieder sorgen jährlich mit viel Engagement und Idealismus auf und hinter der Bühne dafür, dass unsere Theaterprojekte einem möglichst breiten Publikum Unterhaltung bieten. Dabei reicht die Palette der von uns gespielten Genres von Komödien, Boulevardstücken, Krimis über Märchen bis hin zu Programmeinlagen bei verschiedenen öffentlichen Anlässen in Form von Kurzszenen und Einaktern.

In den letzten Jahren hat sich unser Verein vor allem mit der mittlerweile schon traditionellen Märchentheaterproduktion zur Weihnachtzeit einen Namen gemacht; vor allem der generationsübergreifende Aspekt ist uns dabei sehr wichtig – wir versuchen, sowohl Kinder ab Volksschulalter als auch Pensionisten aktiv in die Märcheninszenierungen mit einzubinden.

Unsere Aufführungen finden vorwiegend in der Blumenegghalle in Ludesch statt, wir sind aber auch für Gastspiele in- und außerhalb der Gemeindegrenzen zu haben – diese führten uns u. a. in die Rätikonhalle nach Vandans oder nach St. Martin a. d. Raab im Burgenland (Partnergemeinde von Ludesch).

Die Entscheidung über die Wahl der Stücke wird gemeinsam im Vorstand getroffen, für die Inszenierung verantwortlich zeichnen sowohl externe Regisseure als auch eigene Vereinsmitglieder mit Regieausbildung und -erfahrung.

Um unsere Arbeit laufend weiterzuentwickeln und zu verbessern, wird der Weiterbildung besonderes Augenmerk geschenkt – während der spielfreien Zeit treffen wir uns monatlich zum Theaterabend, an dem wir an unserer Sprechtechnik feilen und verschiedenste Theaterimprovisationen trainieren. Einige unserer Mitglieder haben die Theaterwerkstatt in Feldkirch besucht sowie die Ausbildung zum Spielleiter beim Landesverband für Amateurtheater absolviert.

Wenn wir nicht selber auf der Bühne stehen, sind wir bei div. Theateraufführungen im Land anzutreffen, um uns weiterzubilden, neue Eindrücke zu sammeln und Kontakte zu knüpfen.

Regelmäßige gemeinsame Kultur- und Theaterausflüge führten uns in den letzten Jahren u. a. nach Elbigenalp (Lechtal) zu den Geierwally-Freilichtspielen, nach Wien, Graz, Stuttgart, Berlin oder Linz.

Theater steht natürlich im Mittelpunkt unserer Interessen, aber es bleibt auch Zeit für andere Aktivitäten: rodeln, eislaufen, Familienwandertag … Zuletzt organisierten wir einen Flohmarkt, dessen Erlös wir zum Teil caritativen Zwecken zukommen ließen.
